This weekend is Mother's day. I just completed this session and realized how perfect the timing was.
It's not an easy road being a Mom. No matter what your situation is the struggles that come from raising kids are so very real and yet so very rewarding. I love being a mom. At times it may not seem like it, especially to my kids, but it is the greatest joy in my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
I have to say thank you to my own Mom who happens to be the most amazing woman I know. She has raised 10 (decent looking) kids!! That alone makes her mother of the century, but there is so much more she should be credited for. Most importantly the friendship created between me and all my siblings. Growing up we fought, no doubt, except me...I was perfect!! But when we get together it seems love and respect is present. Despite that we like to tease and torment each other constantly (a sign of real love in my opinion.)
Thank you Alece for giving me this opportunity to capture the love of a mom and her children. Alece is a single mother who is doing a wonderful job of raising her two children with love and more love. You can see it in the images below.
No matter what your situation as a mother may be...be proud!! Don't get caught up in the expectations of others. You are the best for your children!! We are all doing our best. Woman should continue to lift each other up and never drag one another down. We need support from each other.
Next year Mother's day sessions will be a must!!
Thank you Alece for letting me meet your adorable little ones!! I loved everything about this session. Even that sass toward the end!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
Not sure he enjoyed this hug, but it sure looked cute!!
I loved his crooked little smile in this pic!
I do believe she is gorgeous!
Getting kids to pull a silly face always pays off!!
He was not about to look in my direction!!
The cutest face I ever did see. (It was a train) but then....
Some see a flower and others see a weed!! What do you see?
Love this mommy & daughter shot!
The "sass!" Oh how I love it!!
